Expectations for in-person worship at the Church of the Brethren in Ankeny.

*We ask that you take your temperature before coming to worship and if you are running a fever or are not feeling well, please remain home.

*Masks/Face coverings will be required.  If you don't bring your own, there will be some disposable ones available.  If you use the disposable one, please dispose of it properly.  We will have some handmade ones as well.

*Bulletins will not be used.

*We cannot Sing

*The six foot rule will be in effect unless you are with your immediate family, at which time you sit only with them.  We ask that you bring your own lawn chairs and we will have chairs available as well.

*The no physical  contact rule will also be in effect.  Waving, smiling or saying hello are the ways we can greet one another across the 6 ft space at this time.

*Hand sanitizer will be available.

*In the event you need to use the restroom, please enter through the back doors, one person at a time, and use the wipes to re-clean the restroom after using it.

In-person worship expectations continued.

Until we resume worship inside, the church will be closed to all nonessential gatherings, with the exception of a funeral or wedding.

*If you do not feel comfortable coming to in-person worship, online worship that has been provided will continue on Facebook.

*A basket/offering plate will be available for offerings, however the basket will not be passed.

*As is the practice, attendance will be taken as that information is needed in the unlikely event one of those attending becomes ill.

*Please know that the above guidelines are in no way meant to be punitive, but are ways for us to safely gather for worship together during this pandemic.  We will need to continue to be good stewards at containing the virus upon us gathering together we feel these steps will help.
